POLYPAY SHEEP

The Polypay Sheep originated in the United States in 1976. The breed was developed by
Dr. Clarence Hulet at the U.S. Sheep Experimentation Station near Dubois, Idaho.

The Polypay Sheep was developed from a 4 way cross involving Rambouillet, Targhee,
Dorset and Finnsheep Breeds. Using these breeds of sheep Dr. Hulet was able to combine
the qualities of a long season, carcass quality, good herding instinct, hardiness size,
fleece
quality, long life and an outstanding lambing rate.

Polypay sheep have become noted for their marketability as meat producers, however,
their well kept secret is in their fleece.

At present Polypay sheep are registered in Canada by
Canadian Livestock Records Corp.
and has its' own association as well.

New lambs are on their mothers and will be available soon. More to come.

We may have registered lambs for sale fall of 2009. Please e-mail us for more info.
