FLEECES
Most fleeces weigh six to ten pounds and are of excellent grade, medium to fine fleece. Lamb fleeces are comparative to Merino in fineness. Older Polypay sheep have fleece more suited to the making of outer garments. Most fleeces make good quality batts that perform better under washing than do other types. Polypay sometimes throw black fleeces. These sheep are not registerable at this time.
